First impressions were “WOW”! Absolutely beautiful accommodation and stunning views. The lodge was very clean and a pleasure to stay in.

Watermark keeps up its very high standards and makes for a great stay. Isis 80 was very well equipped and right on the waters edge, just right for fishing. Thank you again, we shall be back next year.

There are many reasons to write about the fabric of our lake community, the gorgeous ever changing scenery that reflects the peaceful laid-back feeling of those who call it “home”, whether you own a lodge or spend your leisure time in one you simply have to embrace the rich tapestry of colour and changing activities.  The sense of calm that enfolds you as you arrive imbued with the special qualities that only water can bring. Simply put, we love our lodge!

We have owned a property on The Landings since 2008 and absolutely love it. There is something very special about being by the water – we’ve all learnt to fish, to sail, to canoe, to wakeboard and most of all to appreciate the simple pleasures of the great outdoors. Nothing beats a barbeque on the deck with uninterrupted sunset views across the shimmering lake – a beer and a burger in hand swapping stories of the days’ adventures in the great outdoors. We have taken the kids to many different places in the world but for them nothing beats The Landings!

39 The Landings

We moved into The Watermark Property, 39 The Landings in October. It is the most serene and beautiful escape anyone could wish for. Whatever the weather: rain, cloud, sunshine, cold, snow, etc.  makes no difference to our experience when we are there. The landscaping is kept beautifully, security is second to none and our home is overlooking the exquisite lake where we watch the sunrise and sunset. Waking up in a place like this is a dream come true.  The homes are built to top specifications and we envisage ourselves spending more time there over the coming years.  Must be seen to be appreciated. We have never looked back at our life changing experience.

The Lock’s first bought a small lodge on Isis Lake about 4 years ago. Frank and Rosemary are 61 years of age. As their family have grown and they now have grandchildren they decided to upgrade to a Hampton on Summer Lake. They kept their lodge on Isis Lake and watched as Watermark built their new house exactly to their specification. Frank is a keen fisherman and that’s what brought him to Watermark in the first place. They have a large house just outside London and come here regularly with their family. Frank has had a special fishing jetty built for his fishing and has also recently clubbed together with the rest of the residents on Summer Lake to further stock the lake with fish. He has a large insurance company and is looking to spend more time here when he retires.
